While the interior (accessible for an additional 200 rupees) is less impressive—crowded, with limited sights and no photography allowed—the experience outside is simply magical. You can spend hours strolling around, discovering new perspectives and admiring its beauty. On our seven-day journey through central India, the Taj Mahal was undoubtedly the highlight, along with Jaipur’s Palace of the Winds and the stunning Chand Baori stepwell. The only downside is the overwhelming crowds—even at 6 AM, there was already a queue of 200+ people waiting to enter. Inside, the congestion continues, with 10-15 minute waits just to capture a good photo from the best vantage points.
