Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is one of the largest and most renowned tiger reserves in Rajasthan. It includes Ranthambore National Park, Sawai Madhopur Sanctuary, Sawaiman Singh Sanctuary, Keladevi Sanctuary, and part of the National Gharial Sanctuary, along with other forest areas. Nestled between the rugged Aravali and Vindhya hills, it is bordered by the Banas River to the north and the Chambal River to the south. The reserve features dry deciduous forests, open grassy meadows, highland plateaus, lakes, and rivers, creating an ideal habitat for diverse flora and fauna. The landscape is dotted with ancient forts and abandoned mosques, offering a unique blend of history and wildlife.
